It’s Star Wars day! For May the 4th we thought it would be the perfect time to share some photography editing and style tips for Galaxy’s Edge.
I don’t know about you, but when I sit down to edit a batch of hundreds of Disney photos, it can be hard to know where to begin.
What look do I want?
What preset do I use?
Do I change it up for every photo?
The process for me usually consists of going through every preset a million times until I find one I like, then I use it for everything until my mood changes.
Our last Disney trip we got to visit Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out:
Tips for Editing Galaxy’s Edge Photos
- Go for a dark and gritty/grungey look – presets are great for this (I’m using the “Rift Valley” and “SoHo” presets by Peter McKinnon*) *not paid or sponsored
- Decrease the black tones and highlights for a rich photo
- Use green and brown hues
- Adjust for a warmer colour temperature
